New draft website for people with disabilities – comments please!

Dundee Voluntary Action is asking for comments on a new website it is producing for the Dundee & Angus Independent Living Centre. The site  is a showroom for the hundreds of pieces of equipment which help people with disabilities live independent lives. There is also information about community alarm services and equipment for people with sensory impairments. The website is at

DVA’s Technology Enabled Care Officer, Jimmy Black, said, “Like all websites, this is a work in progress.  Before we launch it officially,  we want people to tell us if we’ve missed anything important. Equally, if people find the site hard to use, we want to know that too.

“More people need to know about the Independent Living Centre, which is an excellent source of advice and practical help serving both Angus and Dundee.”
