Dundee Citizens Advice Bureau can assist EEA nationals and their family members with applications to the government’s EU Settlement Scheme. Applying is a requirement for those who wish to continue living in the UK after the end of the Brexit transition period on 31st December 2020, and applications must be completed by 30th June 2021.
We can advise on the scheme’s eligibility criteria, evidence requirements, and the rights afforded to people with receiving pre-settled or settled status. We will give clients the ongoing support they need to complete and submit their online applications. For more complex enquiries or appeals, we can quickly refer cases to a specialist CAB solicitor.
We can currently provide help by telephone, email, or video-call, and also hope to reopen our office for face-to-face advice in the near future. Clients can contact our main phoneline, 01382 307494, which is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 3pm, to be referred to an adviser. They can also use the ‘Contact Us’ page on our website. Organisations wishing to make a referral should complete the Referral Form and send it to email@example.com.
If they wish, clients can also contact the national EU Citizens Support Service helpline on 0800 916 9847. It’s open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
