Post Title: Community Planning Coordinator
Duration: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: Grade 4: £25,979 – £28,866
You will be a community-minded individual with a passion for engaging with community members, groups and organisations to facilitate their active engagement and participation in locality planning, ensuring that the Third Sector has a strong, collective voice and an influencing role. To do this, you will lead on the Third Sector Networking meetings across each of the 8 localities and create opportunities for the Sector to connect, work better together and collaboratively contribute to the delivery of community plans.
You will have an understanding of the local landscape, local priorities and challenges that Third Sector and communities face in Dundee. You will be confident in engaging with Third Sector and community representatives, facilitating partnership conversations to identify issues and support the Third Sector to lead on solution-focussed initiatives that respond to identified needs. A proactive and innovative approach to identify community-driven solutions will be most welcome and fit well with the teams shared outcomes.
