Applications invited for £2,000 Awards from the Rotary Club of Dundee / Nine Trades of Dundee
The Rotary Club of Dundee has reached a matched funding agreement with the Nine Incorporared Trades of Dundee to create a £20,000 centenary grants fund for local charitable ventures.
Each organisation is contributing £10,000 to the initiative, part of Dundee Rotary Club’s centenary celebrations which will see a bounty of at least £100,000 being donated to local good causes.
Under the scheme, grants of up to £2,000 each will be awarded to the ten charities assessed as making the best cases for the money.
We are inviting applications for funding for worthwhile projects, valued at up to £2,000 each, that can make a real difference and meet the shared objectives of the Rotary Club of Dundee and “The Nine.”
We are now seeking projects that will improve the lives of a group of residents within Dundee, with a particular focus on the prevention or relief of poverty, the advancement of education, or the advancement of health. Projects that also encourage volunteering and the increase of community capacity, or support environmental amenities and/or projects within Dundee will be welcomed.
A broad range of projects are invited to meet the shared objectives, and to cover communities across Dundee and the immediate surrounding area.
An application form with further details of this initiative, as well as examples of suitable projects, is attached as a Word Document and as a pdf, and after completion should be returned to the Secretary of the Rotary Club of Dundee (firstname.lastname@example.org)
The closing date for receipt of Applications is November 30, 2020.
Any queries should be addressed to Tim Heilbronn in the first instance: email@example.com
