News: DVVA Opening Times & Services Winter 2020

Dundee Volunteer and Voluntary Action will continue to offer our services online and in a limited in person capacity. In the run up to Christmas and New Year here are the times we will be operating and services that will be delivered over the festive period.

 

Number Ten will close on Wednesday 23rd December and re-open Tuesday 5th January 2021. For enquires during opening times, please call 01382 305700 or email admin@dvva.scot
Link Up Whitfield are running the Food Larder until Friday 18th December and re-opening on Friday 8th January 2021.
Lochee Community Hub  are offering Food Bags £2 as well as crisis support over Winter 2020. Open Monday-Thursday 9am-2pm until Thursday 24th December and re-opening Tuesday 5th Jan 2021.
Our Chit Chat Recovery Helpline delivered by the Peer Recovery Network will be open throughout Christmas and new year on a limited service instead of running from 10 to 2pm Monday to Friday it will be open from 12 to 2pm from the 24th December to the 4th January all dates inclusive.

HOPE (Helping Older People Engage) have gathered together some activities and telephone numbers so if you are feeling lonely or are needing a little support please make contact with one or more of the services. Read more here.

Services Across Dundee 

Dundee City Council Communities Team have gathered some support services running throughout the festive period.  Follow the In Your Neighbourhood Facebook page of your local area for regular updates.
Faith In Community Dundee have collated Christmas and New Year Food Provision
and a What Do I Do If? Leaflet for Crisis Money Advice services delivered by Dundee City Council, Dundee Citizens Advice Bureau and the Brooksbank Centre.
