20 hours per week (actual work pattern to be agreed)
Pay between £9.90 per hour and £10.90 per hour dependent on experience

The Steeple Church Dundee is looking to appoint a new Church Administrator following the retirement of the previous Administrator. The person appointed will carry out a wide ranging administrative role including preparing the Powerpoint presentation for weekly services as well as circulating rotas and information to members of the congregation. The postholder will also responsible for providing the payroll and pension processes to ensure staff are paid correctly and HMRC needs met. In addition the individual will provide support to the Church Minister /Interim Moderator and ensure that appropriate records are kept as required.

The person appointed will liaise with the Communications team to help co-ordinate communications within the Steeple congregation; liaise with the Hall Bookings Co-ordinator to provide support to Hall bookings and liaise with the Building Management Team and cleaners to help ensure that the building is operated safely and effectively.

Training will be given on all aspects of the role but a wide range of administrative skills and experience of using a variety of IT systems is crucial. Experience of operating a payroll and using HMRC systems or experience of producing publications will be an advantage. Flexibility and excellent communication skills are very important to this role.
