Free training – Intro to Supporting Young People Effected by Other’s Alcohol and Drug Use

This training focuses on young people aged between 12 and 26 years old, who are impacted by another person’s drug or alcohol use. It was co-created with the Routes young people supported by Scottish Families. They will share with you, through videos and in person, the impact of growing up in a household where there is substance use and the difference good support can make. During the training we will explore how to best understand the needs of young people, the barriers they face, and how practitioners can respond effectively.
There are two dates, the same training is delivered on both dates –
  • Thursday 17th September (10am till 12.30pm) at Just Bee. Register through Eventbrite here
  • Friday 18th September (10am till 1pm) at our premises at Number Ten, Constitution Road. Register through Eventbrite here
