Games, Socialising & Cake – a 6 month programme from Uppertunity

This is a relaxed and friendly programme for adults aged 18+ with learning disabilities, autism and additional support needs, combining social activities with practical learning around friendships, relationships, communication, boundaries, confidence and safe socialising, both in person and online.

Sessions will include games, group activities, conversations and guest speakers, with different themes explored across the programme. The aim is to make the learning accessible and enjoyable, while also giving people genuine opportunities to meet others and build confidence.

They will run two free sessions each month, one during the day and one in the evening, from October 2026 to March 2027. Participants can attend one session or several sessions, but each session needs to be booked separately. There are 15 spaces available per session.

All sessions are for 18+, with one specifically for 16+ session on Thursday 21 January 2027, 5:30pm–7:30pm.

During the evening sessions, they will also have a separate informal space for parents, carers and support staff to connect, share experiences and support one another.
