Through YouthLink‘s partnership project YouthVIP, they have refreshed the Youth Volunteering in Schools resource that encourages schools to create a culture of volunteering for young people, recognition of its worth and opportunities. Within this they recognise the important role of partnerships, such as with youth work to make this possible. They have published four case studies of fantastic partnerships here – https://www.youthvip.scot/
They will be running regional training and networking sessions online over the coming months to share more about the resource, and most importantly to create space for colleagues to share practice and connect with each other. You can sign up for them below (you can attend a different one to your region if that’s when you’re available):
- West of Scotland: Thurs 29/10/26 at 16:00 – 17:30
