Who is Uppertunity?
Uppertunity is a Dundee-based charity supporting people aged 16+ with additional support needs, learning disabilities, autism and mental health barriers. We create welcoming, supportive spaces where people can build confidence, learn new skills, meet others and be part of a community.
How can we support the people you work with?
- Weekly activities – Choose from 20+ friendly weekly workshops including art, music, drama, movement, cooking, life skills, gardening and more.
- Bowling Stones League – Our inclusive monthly bowling league brings people together to socialise, have fun and take part as part of a team.
- Social events – We run regular trips, themed events and community activities, giving people more opportunities to meet others and try new experiences.
- Games, Socialising and Cake – A relaxed programme exploring friendships, relationships, communication, boundaries and staying safe, through games, activities and conversation.
- Volunteering – Build confidence, gain experience and develop new skills through volunteering opportunities with Uppertunity.
How to join
There is no formal referral process to join. People, families, carers or professionals can simply get in touch and we can help explore what might be a good fit.
