Mental Health Engagement

We are here to amplify the voices of lived experience. Getting these voices heard, and acted upon, by strategic decision-makers is what we’re all about.

ABOUT US
We want the voices of lived experience to support, shape, and influence service design and delivery across Dundee. Our aim is to bridge the gap between strategic decision makers, and individuals, communities, carers, and families so that this can happen.

Our team’s mental health engagement work highlights opportunities for individuals to get involved, to share their stories, to participate in capacity building opportunities, and to make change happen.

Community engagement is one of the key services we provide. We go out to as many places as possible to share the word about the work our team does and how people can get involved. Often this means going along to groups and chatting with those in attendance, but it can also include more formal presentations if required.

Our mental health engagement staff also organise events around specific topics such as personality disorders or strategic planning which bring together voices of lived experience with professionals from across the city.
