Vacancy at Discover Work

Our team is looking for a new Development Assistant to increase our capacity and resilience while supporting our succession planning.

The postholder will make a significant contribution to delivery of our Economic Development Service.  This specific post will have a particular focus on supporting Employability Programme Management including performance monitoring; undertaking eligibility and quality checks; the management and administration of CRM Systems i.e. Hanlon and corresponding M365 applications; developing and reviewing system processes and guidance documents; preparing performance reports; and the collation, verification, and submission of verified performance and costs to support quarterly reports and claims to funders.

The post holder will work alongside a close-knit team (see the Organogram here) who support each another with a variety of work across priority areas.  We have a track record of supporting professional development and enabling career progression.  We work flexibly with options for both office and remote/home working.  While the post is fixed term until June 2027, extensions are likely subject to continuation in funding.  Secondments are welcome where applicants have approval from their current manager/employer, including partner organisations.
