We’re kicking off the week with the launch of the second phase of the successful Make it Happen Fund from What Matters to You. This round will support communities in the Strathmartine ward.
The launch follows a successful roll-out in Dundee’s Lochee ward where over £22,000 of funding was allocated to local community projects.
The Make it Happen Fund will transform local communities by placing decision-making power directly in the hands of the community, in this case a group of parents by the name of Strathmartine Makes It Happen.
With a total of £30,000 available, the Make it Happen Fund aims to support and encourage local groups by supporting projects and initiatives that create positive change within the community.
The fund represents an important step in grassroots empowerment, with local voices leading the charge. By involving community members in the decision-making process, the Make it Happen Fund will address the unique challenges and opportunities in Dundee.

- Tuesday 20th May from 1pm to 2pm at St Mary’s Community Centre, St Kilda Rd, Dundee DD3 9NH
- Tuesday 27th May from 1pm to 2pm at Ardler Complex, Turnberry Ave, Dundee DD2 3TP
