Scottish Third Sector Talent Pipeline survey

Complete the Scottish Third Sector Talent Pipeline Survey

A strong flow of young talent helps organisations stay resilient, innovative, and reflective of the communities they serve. However, little is known about how well the Scottish third sector is building a pipeline of future leaders.

FreshSight, student-led social enterprise, wants to understand what youth opportunities in place currently look like in Scotland’s third sector so we can help future-proof the sector, building a pipeline of motivated and skilled young talent.

Help shape what that future looks like for your organisation and for Scotland’s third sector by taking our survey. The survey will take around five minutes to complete. Find the survey link here

We’re interested in

  • how confident you feel about attracting young talent,
  • what kinds of youth opportunities you offer (if any)
  • what gets in the way of doing more.

Why Contribute?

Your insights will help us build a clearer picture of youth involvement in Scotland’s VCS sector. Through our student-led perspectives and our partner Rocket Science’s specialism in youth employment, we’ll identify what’s needed to strengthen future support, funding, and partnerships.

We’ll share findings back with the sector and leverage our role as a research organisation working in the third sector and a student-led voice to inform universities, training providers, and policy makers on how best to nurture Scotland’s next generation of third sector leaders.

Please complete the survey by 30th April 2026. If you have any questions you can email us at insights@freshsight.com or contact Rocket Science, our research partner that is conducting the survey at Zubiya.Moin@rocketsciencelab.co.uk
