One Parent Families Scotland are offering a Free Employability Course Designed for Single Parents in Angus & Dundee, see below for more – 

We are excited to invite you to a free, online Employability Skills Course created especially for single parents living in Angus and Dundee. If you are working with a single parent  looking to build digital confidence, strengthen your CV or prepare for job interviews, this supportive 4‑week programme could be the perfect next step.

To help you and your parent understand what the course involves, we have prepared a Parent Information Sheet which we hope supports you in deciding whether this opportunity is right for them.

The course is delivered by Computacenter, in partnership with Social Security Scotland and One Parent Families Scotland (OPFS). Together, we are offering a rare opportunity that combines practical digital skills, real employability support and direct access to employers.

What the course offers:

  • Hands‑on digital skills using your own device
  • A completed, professional CV tailored to real job opportunities
  • Interview confidence through guided practice and mock interviews
  • A chance to meet employers, ask questions and hear about real vacancies
  • A small, friendly group with one‑to‑one support available
  • Sessions scheduled to avoid school holidays

  • Format: Online via Microsoft Teams
  • Dates: 20 May, 27 May, 3 June & 10 June 2026
  • Time: 11:00am – 1:00pm
  • Group Size: Up to 20 participants
