Macalpine Fire station Open Day – request for support

Building on the success of last year’s Open Day, the Community Action Team are pleased to invite you to support this year’s event at Macalpine Fire Station on Friday 11 July, from 11:00am to 3:00pm

The Open Day is aimed at families and members of the local community and is an opportunity for children and adults to learn, engage, and have some fun during the summer holidays. Activities will include meeting local firefighters, exploring fire engines and equipment, and learning practical safety and prevention advice in an accessible and enjoyable way with some other fun activities yet to be confirmed.

To help make the day engaging and valuable for families, they are seeking support from partner organisations, and would welcome your involvement through:

  • Hosting a stall or information stand
  • Delivering a short activity or engagement session for families
  • Sharing advice, information, or resources for children, young people, or parents
  • Supporting general engagement with visitors on the day

Your involvement would add real value to the event and help create a positive, welcoming environment where families can access support, information, and enjoy a fun day out together at the start of the summer holidays.

If your organisation is able to support the event, even for part of the day, they would be very grateful to hear from you.

If you would like further information or would like to discuss ideas for involvement, please contact N.PKADDundeeCAT@firescotland.gov.uk
