As part of Volunteer Thank You Week 26, Dundee Heritage Trust are hosting a Volunteer Taster Session for their Visitor Experience roles at Discovery Point, home of the Royal Research Ship Discovery.
They’d love to welcome onboard any keen explorers to learn more about what it’s like to volunteer with them and the different opportunities available.
Each session will last roughly one hour, with the first half focusing on role expectations and some of the more practical elements of volunteering with us (30 mins). And end with some light public speaking skills (30 mins).
To cap off, they’ll end with an optional tour of the ship. Anyone attending is also more than welcome to explore their exhibitions and galleries at your own pace following the Volunteer Tasting Session.
