Cocaine and Ketamine Research Project

Cocaine and Ketamine Research Project

I’d like to bring your attention to a research project I’m currently working on: Investigating the breadth and depth of cocaine and ketamine use amongst young people in Dundee aged 16-30.

The project has 3 aims:

  • Identify the breadth and depth of the use of Cocaine and Ketamine use for those aged 16-30.
  • Understand the worries and concerns of the young people and their families and what support and advice they need.
  • Aim to identify key areas of support that could be provided from Lochee hub to aid the reduction of usage and the associated harm. This will include advice, information and support for parents and carers and the community.

The first stage of the project is a survey aimed at people aged 16-30 in Dundee who have taken cocaine, crack cocaine or ketamine in the past year.

The link to the survey is here: http://tiny.cc/DundeeCK

Please share this widely with your networks, and with anyone you know who may fit the above criteria.

I can arrange to bring posters to anyone or any services who would be willing to display them. Please let get in touch at benlawrie@dvva.scot
