Dundee Community Collectives

Community Collective events will be held across the city and will provide the means by which people can discuss the findings of recent surveys, like Engage Dundee and consultations in Dundee.

Dundee City Council Communities Officers are organising Community Collectives in November and early December 2021. This is to start the process of establishing new community plans for the period 2022-2027. These events have been organised for all stakeholders to meet and discuss the issues and potential solutions for the communities across each ward area of Dundee. The expectation is that the collectives will continue into 2022 and develop work into the future, but stakeholders can participate in all or as many parts of the process as practicable.

The concept is that residents, volunteers and workers can meet at these events, identify the priority issues and aspirations and then plan out how we all work together to create changes needed for the area. These changes can be at a neighbourhood or ward wide level.

Dundee Volunteer and Voluntary Action Engagement Team recognises the importance of community groups and organisations and individuals being able to relate and add to community plans, whether you are at forefront of services delivered or seeking ways to fill in the gaps this has the utmost importance in what a community needs now and how it could look in the future.

Below are the dates and joining information for each ward.
