Frequently Asked Questions
We have collated some of the most frequently asked questions about the fund. However, if your question is not answered here, please contact us on funding@dvva.scot to get more information.
Can I apply to both streams of the fund or put in multiple applications?
Yes – you can apply to both streams, as long as it is not for the same thing. Multiple applications can be put in for different projects.
Do you fund one-to-one work?
Although the fund does not support “clinical work”, it will fund other one-to-one support such as befriending.
If our organisation is outside the Dundee area, can we still apply?
Yes – as long as the beneficiaries of the work live in Dundee you can apply for the fund. If not, you can apply to the fund through your own local TSI. Details of all the TSIs and the funding can be found at https://tsi.scot/communities-mental-health-wellbeing-fund/
If we are a local branch of a national organisation can we apply?
Although the fund is to primarily support local community initiatives, we may consider applications from local branches of larger organisations if they can show they are capacity building the local community/groups.
