DVVA Vacancy – Community Hubs Manager

 

Community Hubs Manager, Dundee 

35 hours per week, fixed term to 31st March 2025 in first instance

Salary : Grade 5 – £30,363 – £33,737

 

DVVA are looking for a passionate and committed individual to support the development of our Community Hubs in Lochee and Whitfield. The Hubs work within the local communities to identify needs and provide or support access to relevant services, working in conjunction with Dundee City Council, Dundee Alcohol and Drugs Partnership and other key stakeholders.

We’re looking for someone to take a lead in role in developing the Hubs, working in partnership with the local communities and relevant stakeholders. You will have knowledge of the local communities and the issues affecting people within these and you’ll be committed to working with the communities to address these issues. You’ll lead the Community Hubs Team and oversee the delivery of Hubs and DVVA objectives, providing line management support, leadership, strategic direction and financial sustainability. Ideally, you’ll have a successful track record in community development and working effectively with partners. A qualification in Community Learning and Development, Social Work or a related area is essential, as is line management experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills will ensure that you can connect effectively with a variety of stakeholders and establish networks to support the work of the Hubs.
