Discover Work are delighted to offer their first Makeup & Beauty Academy delivered in partnership with D&A College and Business Gateway Tayside. If you have ever considered studying or working in the makeup and beauty industries but don’t know where to start, this could be the course for you!
What to expect:
- 12 week, part-time introductory course on the world of make-up and beauty therapy
- Family friendly hours: 12 hours per week, 9.30am – 2.30pm, Tuesday to Thursday
- Gain practical experience in make-up, eyebrows and skincare treatments with professional tutors
- Build your confidence, problem solving and self-awareness in a fun and friendly environment
- Create your own online portfolio and social media channels
- Get advice and guidance on starting your own business
- Free make-up kit, travel expenses and lunches whilst on the course
- Ongoing support to find a job, college course, access further training or start your own business
To access this course you must:
- Live in Dundee
- Be aged 16 or older
- Not in full-time work or education
- Be available for all of the course
- Interested in make-up and beauty therapy
