My Health, My Rights: A National Health Rights Survey for Scotland

For fifty years, Children’s Health Scotland has been listening to what matters most to children and young people about their health and their rights. Through five decades of stories, surveys, programmes, hospital visits, school sessions, and lived experience, one message has never changed: Children and young people know what they need — and their voices must guide the future of healthcare in Scotland.

Now they’re asking Scotland to do the same. Their Health Rights Defenders are calling for stronger evidence, louder voices, and real change: “When adults really listen, things get better.” That’s why they need children, young people, trusted adults, health professionals, local authorities, health boards, child health commissioners, and education workers — who can also use our special Health Rights Power Pack to support Rights Respecting Schools learning — to take part.
