NESS Feasibility Study for a Young Persons Sensory Service

North East Sensory Service have commissioned a feasibility study looking into the need for a Young Persons Sensory Service.

We have a very positive service in Aberdeen where young people take part in lots of group activities. We have asked Beth Hannah from Dundee University to undertake a study to see what is needed in Dundee. She has created questionnaires for children and young people, their parents and carers, and professionals and volunteers who have experience of supporting people living with sensory loss. There will also be in-person focus groups too; some of the sessions and questionnaires will be BSL interpreted.

We welcome responses, if you have any queries please contact Carla Marchbank via carla.marchbank@nesensoryservices.org or Beth Hannah via e.hannah@dundee.ac.uk
