Appointment of board members for NHS Tayside
The Cabinet Secretary for NHS Recovery, Health and Social Care is seeking to appoint two new board members to NHS Tayside. New Board members will work with the Chair and the Board to ensure the efficient, effective and accountable governance of NHS Tayside and to provide strategic leadership and direction focussing on agreed outcomes. The Board’s functions focus on strategic development, resource allocation, implementation of annual delivery plans and performance review and management.
Remuneration and time commitment
The rate is £9,030 per annum for one day a week / £18,060 per annum for two days a week. This is non-pensionable.
Skills/Experience Required
Skills/Experience required
The Board requires people with a combination of the following priority skills and experience:
Role 1: Finance, Audit and Risk Experience
Role 2: Estates and property management or digital transformation experience
Applicants should also have the following skills and experience:
- An understanding of the challenges in relation to the delivery of health and social care services
- The ability to challenge constructively
- Decision making skills
- Communication skills and influencing skills
- Commitment to the NHS Values
