Gary Higgins at the ScotGov Employability Alignment and Integration Team is looking for contributions for their second edition of their Employability E-Bulletin, please see the below request from him –
“We are planning to publish the second edition towards the end of June and it would be great to hear about any visits or events that have taken place throughout spring or summer or any future events that you would like to promote. Please also share any key announcements, publications, good news stories etc. Please note that depending on priorities and overall length of this edition, your pieces may still be included in this edition or a future eBulletin.
As set out in the No One Left Behind Employability Strategic Plan 2024 to 2027 under Priority 2 (Increasing awareness and uptake of employability support) we have a collective commitment to review and improve the communication tools and platforms in partnership and we need to ensure we are using these communication mechanisms in the most effective way. Our e-Bulletin is a great way for you to get your employability news and updates out to a wide audience – we currently have over 1500 subscribers from across the public, private and third sectors. With your help we can continue to make improvements such as recent changes we have made moving to Microsoft Sway and adjusting the publication schedule.
Contributions should be between 100-200 words. In line with the Strategic Plan Priority 2, employability news and policy adjacent information needs to be shared in a clear, consistent and accessible way, so that people are fully aware of what is happening at a local and national level. Please also provide links for further information and contact details where appropriate. Please note there is also no overarching theme for the next edition.
I would be grateful if you could let me know if you have anything you would like to be added to the e-bulletin, or if your stakeholders have sent you anything you feel would be appropriate to share, by Wednesday 27 May.
I would be grateful if you could please send any contributions to Gary.Higgins@gov.scot “
