Big Give have opened applications for a new funding available for women and girls charities –
Applications are now open for the Women and Girls Match Fund 2026, closing at 5pm on Friday, 19 June. Through this campaign, we’re proud to support exceptional charities working with and for women and girls, helping build a future where every individual can thrive without limitations.
Who can apply?
Eligible organisations include:
- UK-registered charity with a Charity Commission, OSCR or NI Charity Commission number, or tax-exempt status.
- Have an annual income of at least £25,000 (as per last filed accounts on the Charity Commission).
- Charities working to improve the lives of vulnerable, disadvantaged or underrepresented women and girls within the UK and internationally.
- Charities that are led by, for and with women and girls. To assess this, we will look at whether your governing documents specifically mentions women/and or girls, whether you have a majority female board, who your beneficiaries are and your web presence (if your organisation has one).
We’ve expanded eligibility to better support smaller charities, recognising the ongoing funding pressures faced by organisations working with women and girls.

- Applications for £500 – £10,000 in match funding now welcomed
