WRASAC Vacancy – Advocacy Worker

Closing date: Sunday 15th October 2023 at midnight.

Interviews: Thursday 26th October 2023

Hours: 28 hours per week funded until March 2025 (with opportunity to seek further funding)

Location: Dundee and Angus

Salary: £21,898.24 moving to £23,572.64 after successful completion of probationary period.

Holiday Entitlement: 38 Days plus 5 Public Holidays (rising to 42 Days after 4 years’ Service)

Pension: Employer contribution at 6% to pension fund.

 

Our Justice Advocacy Service provides support throughout the criminal justice process

The overall aim of this post is to provide support and advocacy to survivors who are engaged, or considering engaging, with the criminal justice system following an experience of sexual violence. This role includes supporting survivors to give statements to police and taking on the role of court supporter which can be any Sheriff and High Court within Scotland
